My Fall Survival Kit

Fall always has me racing from one thing to the next. I love the energy (I thrive in a little chaos), but when time gets tight, I lean on a few simple tricks to stay healthy.

Trust me, I'd love an hour to work out and three hours to cook dinner every day. But with three teenage boys and a business to run, that rarely happens…okay, maybe on a weekend. Here are a few time-saving reminders I rely on every week:

1. A workout can be 20 minutes.
I aim for 30, but some days 20 is all I've got, and it still counts. I use @onepeloton at home and on the road. I also walk everywhere and take the stairs whenever I can. Yes, steps count!

2. Let the groceries come to you.
Fresh Direct and Instacart stock my pantry and fridge, and Butcherbox (code REALNUTRITION) fills my freezer every month with organic, grass-fed, and heritage proteins. Quality protein delivered to my door means dinner actually happens.

3. Pack a "health hack" baggie (and don't forget your water bottle).
I keep a stash in my bag and suitcase so I'm never hungry or depleted:

  • Bars: BTR Nation (CODE: REALNUTRITION), Trubar (CODE: TRUAMY), Aloha, Jacob

  • Electrolytes: Ultima, Flav City, Cure

  • Chia seed packets: a non-negotiable for digestion

  • Nut packs: Pistachios, Daily Crunch, Karma Cashew

4. Extra support on the go.
I never skip my supplements (D3, Probiotics, NMN, CoQ10, Fish Oil, Nutrafol), and I keep Beekeeper's Naturals propolis throat spray in my makeup bag for extra immune support during busy weeks.

5. Swap the wine for tea.
I keep alcohol to a minimum and don't drink at home. On nights in, I make a cup of herbal tea instead. It's a calming ritual that helps me unwind, sleep better, and wake up with more energy.

Nothing fancy, just a few favorites that help me get through fall feeling good. I hope one or two make your season a little easier too!
