How Much Sugar Are You Really Eating?

439_Gallery_1Now that you may be thinking about quitting sugar or already started, I want to help you out by giving you this little guide as to how much sugar may be hiding in our daily diet. Remember, the American Heart Association recommends no more than 6 teaspoons of added sugar a day for women, or 8 teaspoons of added sugar for men. That comes out to about 100 and 150 calories/day for women and men respectively. Even if you aren’t guzzling sodas every day, just by looking at this chart you can see how easy it is to reach your added sugar limit before lunch time!
