What if health was about how you feel in your body and not about the number on the scale? In my practice, I work with clients to feel confident in their body, to create a healthy relationship with food, and to create a lifestyle.
Everybody has different goals, but when we look at the scale and we have that as our only goal, we can be disappointed because there’s so many fluctuations. I like to help my clients achieve their goals by focusing on how to fill their plate, what foods to add (not always about what to take away), and how to recognize that they feel great, their energy is increased, and that their bloating may be down, or they might be outperforming themselves in their workouts. So, recognize these non-scale wins.
Sure, the scale is an option, but it shouldn’t define how you feel or how you feel like you are accomplishing your goals. How do you define health beyond the scale? Let me know. I always like to have these conversations!
